How “Social” Is Your Business?

With businesses racing to market through social media, many of them will run straight into a wall. There is no doubt that there is a powerful marketing potential through social media, but far too many businesses will blindly stumble their way through a campaign.

One of the biggest mistakes that we see businesses making regards their social identity. As they try to gain hundreds of followers and massive fan pages, they often forget to create a personality and authenticity to their profile. This ultimately leaves their friends and fans in the dark and uninterested. Who actually wants to follow a boring, sales-ey business anyway?

You have to always remember to be transparent and authentic. Be Human! A business is more than just a business. It has character and culture…and only human qualities can truly be social.
